In Chicago, the Holiday season has a special atmosphere of excitement. An excitement found especially at the Chicago Toy & Games Fair, the largest Toy & Game Fair open for the public. ChiTAG is the place to be to showcase the hottest, newest, greatest toys & games right before the holiday season goes full throttle. Flipoutz was right in the thick of things with a steady crowd discovering the interactive funwear.

Thru-out the two-day event, Flipoutz inventors Erin, Jake, & Lachlan Johnson met with the press, potential retailers, and the public, spreading the word about Flipoutz.  Seeing the young inventors in the flesh went a long way toward showing that great ideas often come from young minds.

Meanwhile, the Flipoutz Booth was seldom empty as a steady stream of curious crowds kept things hoppin'. We even had royalty pay a visit as Miss Illinois, Miss Teen Illinois, & Mrs. Illinois gave us a royal beauty blessing. Having 3 Queens makes for a powerful, winning hand!

Flipoutz to take the Windy City by Storm at ChiTAG

 Flipoutz founders Erin, Lachlan, and Jake Johnson will be debuting Flipoutz at the 2011 Chicago Toy and Game Fair! TheChicago Toy & Game Fair (ChiTAG) is a two-day fun-filled celebration of the power of play and creativity, and is the only toy and game fair in the U.S. open to the public.  Fun-seekers from far and wide descend on Chicago's beautiful Navy Pier to preview, play and purchase the hottest and latest toys and games, rediscover favorite classics, and meet the inventors that brought them to life.  Come to be dazzled and enchanted, come to learn and explore, come to mingle and participate in a magical community event.  But most of all come to have fun! Kidzforce SC Sales Competition Heating Up

Some of South Carolina's youngest and brightest have been battling for the position of the highest selling associate since Kidz Force made its national debut at the South Carolina State Fair in October! Kidzforce Debut at SC State Fair

Flipoutz co-inventor Lachlan Johnson was all smiles at the South Carolina State Fair Friday evening, "We're going to flip the toy industry on it's ear." And literally so, as a gymnastics team cartwheeled before a gathered crowd while Flipoutz staged it's public launch of KIDZFORCE, a nation-wide sales program enabling kids to gain business knowledge first-hand, as well as help spread the new Flipoutz Interactive Funwear far & wide.

The New York International Gift Fair continues through Wednesday.

NY Int. Gift Fair pushes Flipoutz even Further

Jake Johnson's two-fisted way of showing off his Flipoutz Coins & Bracelets at the New York International Gift Fair has proved successful as more stores have signed up to sell the interactive funwear.

With doors opening up for Flipoutz going global, Flipoutz has shown that despite a sluggish economy, a good idea will always have international appeal. From what has been accomplished at NYITF, let's say that Flipoutz WILL become a worldwide phenomenon. (More details soon to come!)
As for the US, coming from a great reception at the Teen Choice Awards, the intrepid Flipoutz Inventors have taken the Big Apple by storm, gathering a growing line-up of stores including two within NYC proper...

Flipoutz was a hit at the recent Teen Choice Awards. FLIPOUTZ INVENTORS Erin, Lachlan & Jake Johnson hung out with some neat celebs, and did what they do best...showing off their new interactive funwear!

Glee star Brock Baker flashed his color co-ordinated black Flipoutz bracelet with Aaron, Jake & Lachlan.


The Blind Side co-star Quentin Aaron stopped by the Flipoutz booth, and made us realize we needed larger bracelets...

Jake vs Justice Smith / Flipoutz Arm Wrestling

At the recent Teen Choice Awards Flipoutz Co-Inventor Jake Johnson had a chance to flex his Flipoutz muscles by taking on NBC's American Gladiators star Justice Smith in a bit of arm wrestling! I was close, but Jake summoned up all his Flipoutz Power to dominate the match.

While we've been reporting of all the stores that have begun stocking Flipoutz®, the questions we get more & more boils down to one simple question that has several answers... What do you do with Flipoutz?

The idea behind Flipoutz, is fundamentally no different than trading baseball cards... "I have Mickey Mantle, you have Nolan Ryan...let's trade! But we've added trade tracking & social networking on top of that!

By registering your coins on the Flipoutz.com website, you can track your coin and interact with whomever registers the coin after you traded it. So if you & your five best friends trade Flipoutz coins, you can then interact with each other on the Flipoutz website.

You got a particular Flipoutz coin at a special place or during a special occasion? Document the story with the coin. Just post the story when you register it. The story stays with the coin, and more stories can be added by others whenever it is traded.

77 Different coins! When you order a Flipoutz coin pack, bracelet or starter pack online, you don't know what coins you are going to get. Just like baseball trading cards, you'll have coins you'll want to keep, coins you want to trade, & coins you want to trade for. The more coins you collect, the more trades you'll make.

The View from Above

The campaign for getting Flipoutz in stores nationwide officially kicked off Friday, April 3rd. when the Johnson family, creators of Flipoutz, appeared on ABC's Sharktank and pitched their idea of tradeable & trackable coins and colorful coin bracelets to the Sharks, and won their backing & support.

Since then it's been a rocket ride! In less than 4 months, stores across the country have begun stocking the "Interactive Funwear". We've taken to post their locations on our Google Map that supplies address & phone# where available, making for an easy way for anyone to visualize locations & directions. plus, the number of new subscribers to our child-friendly interactive website is growing by leaps & bounds. More & more are collecting the coins, trading them & tracking them online at flipoutz.com.

Along with our efforts to win over retailers, we've also had stores call us to order, simply because their customers keeps asking them to stock Flipoutz. Word of mouth is the best form of marketing, so now the word is out and mouths are talking...and word is "Stock some FLIPOUTZ!" It's easy to get the ball rolling, any retailer can call us at 843-448-8880 to talk to a Flipoutz Rep. they'll be happy to answer questions, or better yet, place orders.

While the view high above looks great, there's plenty of room for more stores & more places to stock flipoutz.
