Meet Columbia, South Carolina’s Brightest Kid Entrepreneurs
October 10, 2011Columbia, SC – Flipoutz, a local toy company started by kids will debut its revolutionary new program, Kidzforce, at the 2011 South Carolina State Fair.  Kidzforce is an exciting new program designed to teach participants (kids) entrepreneurial skills while having fun and raising money for themselves and local organizations. “Kidzforce is going to be a revolutionary way for kids to make money,” says one of the sibling creators Lachlan Johnson. “Gone are the days of paper routes and lemonade stands, because today’s kids can be sophisticated business owners that earn, learn, and have fun doing it!

Flipoutz has been very busy working with partners at established toy company Wild Creations of Myrtle Beach, ABC’s “Shark Tank”, and PBS’s BizKid$ to provide the necessary curriculum to help foster an educational and rewarding experience for all the young entrepreneurs in the program.

Flipoutz are safe, affordable and collectible bracelets that are fun to wear and even cooler to share! Flipoutz is also an interactive activity designed to capture the joy of sharing, positive self-expression, and the magic of vicarious travel as kids wear, trade, and track coins held by a colorful bracelet. Kids simply wear a one-of-a-kind bracelet and trade the five expressive coins that the bracelet holds. The coins feature customized artwork and meaningful messages. Flipoutz owners are encouraged to trade, or "flip out," their coins.

The Kidzforce program debuts the team of bright young participants from the Columbia area, who will be introduced on Friday, October 14 at 6pm from the SC State Fair.  Kid inventors Jake and Lachlan Johnson will be there to announce the first Sales Directors of the national launch.  This will serve as the kick-off of a contest that runs through Thanksgiving weekend 2011.  The contest will allow the new Kidzforce team to learn about entrepreneurship while earning money for their local organizations.

All the proceeds raised by Kidzforce participants will go directly to the organization of their choice. The Kidzforce participant who earns the most money will win an additional $1,000 for their organization!

Stop by The Ruff Building #10 at the SC State Fair to pick up the most unique product on the market, created by kids for kids, and to meet some of the state’s youngest, brightest entrepreneurs!
